I performed a small analysis on the Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-9, mainly to look at United Airlines' order swap. The main key was to research whether the order swap has something to do with the fuel economics of the Boeing 777-300ER compared to the Boeing 787-9 or whether it was just a strategical move from United Airlines.

- Boeing 777s are now sold at over 60% discount.
- Although United Airlines swapped 787s for 777s, it cannot be seen as a replacement.
- Boeing and United both gain from the swap.
